I visited the exhibition of carolee schneeman body politics as a pat of my studies. she is an artist and feminist who remains important to this day. I was amazed by the boldness and creativity of her. she have expressed her creativity by the medium of body. she showed us all the sexual expressions in a artistic way.
This is known to be first survey of American work in the UK. it is the interdisciplinary work of over five decades. the exibition features over 300 objects, it have bring all the amazing sculptures, paintings and performances at all one place. there are also short scale films and archival materials which gives more appropriate experience. this exibition gives us a message that carole schneemann was a radical pioneer. she was a artist and consider herself as a painter. she have her body as a medium which is very fascinating for me. her work is concerned with the precarious lived experience of humans and animals. in her time she had came up with srious topics like violence in war, objectifying women and also sexual expressions.
The next trip was to science gallery where there was the exibition to appreciate the work of students n the lockdown.it was fun to see the creative students work like us. i came across with many audios, idea which was recorded in the pandemic. i also came up with poems, rap on Covid and all the different art forms which was inspiring for me i have also done some creative work on guitar i used to make new tunes on guitar and this lockdown gave me new inspiration to be a musician. it was fascinating for me how by creativity the critical thinking is expressed. in lockdown all the people was going through some stress and people were dying due to this evil disease but this creative ideas can give motivation to do new things no matter how bad the time is, one can make the change in hard time. i came up with zines and diaries also which was again extraordinary. from this two gallery i learned how shall i put my ideas and what mediums can be used to describe the creativity. how one use body as a medium, with critical thinking how can i add creativity in it. finally to sum up I came up with the new ideas of my subject and how can i be a creative critical researcher by having a broad idea by looking at different type works.
