    articulating protest

Media is the third eye of the nation moreover theatre, films, drama, documentary, images and manifestos have extraordinary impact on the world. The most important thing art and creativity is used as a magic in media.
In protest media plays extraordinary role because news, films and ground reporting connects the people and most of the times they have gathered enormous support for instance there are also revolutionary songs if bob marley
Like “stand up stand up get up for your right”
In 1973 bob marley the legend used to say truth by songs and enormous numbers of people used to come in his concerts.

There is one more song the Redemption song which is used by activists and philosophers. specifically the words “Emancipate yourself from mental slavery… none but ourselves can free our minds,” which are drawn from a 1937 speech made by the black nationalist and Pan-African philosopher and activist, who was born in Jamaica.

Showdown in Seattle ,a whole film which have field visuals in other words the film have the news, original ground reporting of that time and the opinions of people which great work and also at same time a creative approach for expressing a protest it is great that one can know how was the protest of that time for instance i also came across the history of cutting.
History of Cutting – Soviet Theory of Montage (Filmmaker IQ, 2014) in this video i came to kniw about how by images and sequences one can convey the message or idea. There was a camera placed at particular angle and one by one character comes in front of camera and says the tittle of image it is extraordinarily used nowadays like reels.
